Nick Wagstaff’s essay ‘Arthur Machen’s Pyramid of Fire’ is now out in Faunus, The Journal of the Friends of Arthur Machen, No. 24, Spring 2012.
It explores ‘The Shining Pyramid’, Machen’s classic tale of 1895, which Nick considers to be a signature piece in the author’s ‘little people’ mythology and a work that also employs some unusual elements of detective fiction.
